Capital Oil partners Copa Lagos Beach Soccer

19 October 2011, Sweetcrude, Lagos – Organisers of the Copa Lagos Beach Soccer Tournament have officially announced Capital Oil and Gas as the new Copa Lagos Official Sponsor on the Energy Category and it’s lead sponsor.

Capital Oil and Gas is the third company to sign up as official sponsor of the competition slated for December 2011. Others are First City Monument Bank (FCMB) and Red Bull.

According to Mr Samson Adamu, Chief Executive Officer of Kinetic Sports, organisers of Copa Lagos Beach Soccer, “Capital Oil and Gas was established in 2001 by Mr. Ifeanyi Patrick Uba, and like Copa Lagos, is a dynamic and innovative company, and it is rapidly becoming the leader in the downstream sector of the oil and gas industry in Nigeria.”

“As part of the agreement, Capital Oil and Gas will be Copa Lagos’ official main sponsor, benefiting from a wide range of rights, including tournament hospitality, VIP entrance to all Copa Lagos venues and events, exposure on 21 international TV Channels reaching an audience of 250 million households in Sub-Saharan Africa and worldwide, among many other advantages”.

Samson Adamu said the Copa Lagos Beach Soccer team is proud to add a premium brand like Capital Oil and Gas to the list of the tournament official sponsors.

The tournament will take place on 9, 10 and 11 December 2011 at Eko Atlantic, Victoria Island lagos, off Bar beach.

The participating teams are Nigeria, Brazil, England and South Africa.
