07 February 2012, Sweetcrude, ABUJA - Kaztec Engineering Limited, a subsidiary of the Chrome Group and a leader in the fabrication of specialised structures for the oil and gas industry, has announced plans to exhibit at Nigeria Oil & Gas 2012 and Offshore Technology Conference 2012, two of the biggest annual events on the oil and gas industry’s 2012 calendar.

The company said it will showcase its latest accomplishments and capabilities at the Nigeria Oil & Gas 2012, the Ministry of Petroleum Resources’ and Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation’s largest annual event for Nigeria’s oil & gas industry.

The event, holding February 20-23, 2012 at the International Conference Centre in Abuja, is expected to bring together more than 1,000 senior representatives from the Ministry and the NNPC as well as domestic and international companies .

Kaztec also said it has finalised plans to exhibit at the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, Texas in May. OTC 2012 is expected to attract more than 50,000 attendees and more than 2,000 participating companies.

It is the world’s foremost event for the development of offshore resources in the fields of drilling, exploration, production and environmental protection. OTC 2012 will be held at Reliant Centre in Houston, Texas, running from April 30th through May 3rd.

“When the world’s oil and gas companies think about fabrication for the oil and gas industry in Nigeria, we want them to think first about Kaztec,” said Sir Emeka Offor, chairman of the Chrome Group, which he founded in 1994.

“In recent years we have proven that our people, equipment and processes are as good as any in the industry, delivering project after project safely, in record time, within budget and in accordance with international best practices.”
