  • Slowly but surely Nigeria is assuming a reputation as one of the unsafest places to be on the planet. The loss of even one life is just not acceptable by any stretch of the imagination. The maritime authorities must therefore come up with safety standards that can actually preserve lives and property of those operating within Nigerian waters and ports.
