Indonesia on track to hit output target

Indonesian news agency Antara quoted acting SKK Migas head Johannes Widjonarko as saying output during September reached 829,000 barrels per day of oil and condensate, roughly 98.7% of the 2013 revised state budget’s 840,000 bpd target.

Widjonarko said that SKK Migas predicted Indonesian output would hit the 2013 target before year end, adding the regulator would increase well maintenance and drilling activities in order to achieve the goal.

Gas production during September reached nearly 6.77 billion cubic feet of gas per day, which was 98.5% of the revised state budget’s target.

Overall output reached 2.04 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, 98.6% of Indonesia’s 2013 target of 2.08 million boepd.
