12 October 2013, Luanda – At least 33 medium and low-voltage power transformation stations will be installed during infrastructuring of land reserve of Mabubas in Dande district, northern Bengo Province, Angop has learnt from an official source.
The head of Basic Infrastructure Department of Urbanisation and Housing Ministry, Carlos Augusto, said that the entire electrical network that will be set up in 300 acres of land reserve of Mabubas will be underground.
According to him, the contract will cover 14 km of medium voltage cables, 100 km for low voltage cables, while 208 km will comprise lighting cables and 4,109 street lamps. Regarding the drainage network, he said that the project will include 76 kilometres of drainage residual network, 39 rainwater drainage network as well as wastewater treatment station.
“We have 770,000 meters square of green space planted with trees, urban gardens , recreation areas for children, placing furniture, among others ,” said the official .
The minister of Urbanisation and Housing, José António Silva laid Monday the first stone for urbanization work that cover 300 hectares of Mabubas land reserve.
