13 November 2013, Nairobi – Hashi Energy has signed a retail distributorship deal with the Association of People with Dwarfism. In the deal, every unemployed dwarf will get a starter pack of six filled gas cylinders and a cage to store them for no deposit.

The first 10 beneficiaries from Kisumu, Narok, Machakos, Kangundo, Nakuru, Ruiru, Nairobi, and Limuru were supplied with the starter packages last week.

Hashi Energy’s Abraham Mutai said the association’s members will get gas refills on credit, sell the gas or gas cylinder and pay up after selling. Phase two of the deal starts in two months that will see 20 more dwarfs benefit.
