EMGS wins Petrobras gig

Petrobras09 September 2014, News Wires – Brazilian state-run player Petrobras has awarded a $5.5 million contract to Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) for work off the South American country.

Work will be carried out by the vessel EM Leader, which is currently waiting in the Caribbean.

The vessel will soon start mobilising to Brazil and will reach the country in five to seven days.

EMGS will carry out a 3D electromagnetic data acquisition for Rio de Janeiro-based Petrobras.

All of the necessary permits are now in place and the shoot will start as soon as possible.
