Egypt inks $47m agreements with Total, Tunisian firm



25 January 2015, Cairo – Egypt’s Petroleum Minister Eng. Sherif Ismail has signed three new agreements for prospecting for petroleum and natural gas in the two regions of the Western Desert and Nile Delta.

The new agreements are with French Company Total and Tunisian Company HPS.

The three agreements’ investments hit $47 million, of which $23 million had been allocated for digging 10 new wells.
