OWA 2016 to hold January 26‐28 in Lagos

Energy Institute confirms partnership with OWA 2016

20 June 2015, Lagos – The Energy Institute Nigeria has announced and confirmed a Strategic Partnership with Offshore West Africa Conference & Exhibition, OWA 2016 edition.
OWA, owned and produced by PennWell Corporation would include the implementation of a Continuing Professional Development, CPD in the 2016 edition as part of the overall conference
 Taking place on 26‐28 January 2016 at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos, Nigeria, the 20th annual Offshore West Africa will build on the success of the 2015 event, which also took place in Lagos, which attracted a record breaking international audience of almost 2,400 leading oil and gas industry professionals from more than 30 countries worldwide.
According a statement signed by PennWell’s Senior Marketing Managing, Lee Catania said the premier technical forum for the West African offshore oil and gas exploration and production industry, OWA is pleased to announce the alliance once again for 2016 with the Energy Institute.
The statement explained that the inclusion of CPD and Youths programmes for the 2016 edition is to further enhance PennWell’s Corporate Social Responsibility as a commitment to leaving a legacy within its host country.
Yewande Abiose, Managing Director, Energy Institute Nigeria said, “With the remarkable success of 2015 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programme for Young Professionals, Energy Institute Nigeria is excited to be collaborating with PennWell for the upcoming 20th anniversary edition.
