06 October 2015, News Wires – Survey player Fugro has landed a $13 million extension to a contract from Pemex to conduct survey work off Mexico.
The company, along with local partner Diavaz, will continue to use the Fugro Synergy on the extension to the geophysical and geotechnical contract in the Bay of Campeche and deep-water sections of the Perdido area.
The field programme is set to kick off this month, with the geoconsulting programme to be carried out through next year.
In September last year Fugro won a $31.5 million deal from state player Pemex for survey work ahead of possible deep-water installation operations.
The high-resolution survey will be used in support of the design and/or installation of the likes of platforms, pipelines, jack-up rigs and other deep-water facilities.
