Ocean Installer in BP frame deal

bp big12 October 2015, News Wires – Ocean Installer has secured a framework agreement with BP to carry out subsea work in the Gulf of Mexico.

The three-year pact covers subsea fabrication, transport and installation of offshore facilities, as well as hook-up and commissioning work, though no specific contract has yet been signed.

The Norwegian subsea contractor’s US president Mike Newbury said it has carried out work for the UK supermajor in the US Gulf over the last few years and “now our focus is to win call-off work within this framework”.
