Kunle Kalejaye 22 October 2015, Sweetcrude, Lagos – ‎The Housing Unit crisis that is rocking Nigeria’s biggest power generation plant, Egbin power station, has led to a drop in power generation at the station.

SweetcrudeReports reliably gathered that as at Tuesday October 20 2015, power generation at the plant dropped rom 1,100megawatts to 800megawatts, but sources said this would likely increase before the end of the month.
A competent source within the power plant explained that the crisis which is between Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, workers and Egbin Power Plc, the new owners of the power plant, is currently being looked into by the presidency.
Attempt to get the view of the General Manager Public Affair of TCN, Seun Olagunju on the issue proved abortive.
