Mkpoikana Udoma 13 November 2015, Sweetcrude, Port Harcourt – The anti-illegal oil bunkering squad of the Joint Taskforce, JTF, in the Niger Delta, codenamed Operation Pulo Shield, says it’s Sector One deployed at Adagbarasa Community in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State have arrested four pipeline vandals.

The suspects, whose names were given  as Tahiru Mohammed, Mohammed Ibrahim, Dan Asabe Lawal and Bashir Adamu, were arrested while breaking the pipeline.
A statement issued by the JTF spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Isa Ado, on Wednesday said two trucks with registration numbers Kaduna KAF 626 XA and Kaduna MKA 542 XA found at the scene were also impounded.  Both the suspects and trucks are in the custody of the JTF for preliminary investigation.
Isa in the statement also said troops have also destroyed nine bunkering sites in Warri as well as 14 sites in Southern Ijaw local government area of Bayelsa State.
