In a statement containing his Christmas and New Year message to members, Oladiti expressed the readiness of the PTD to support Government towards reducing the problem of fuel scarcity to the barest minimum through engagement of tanker drivers to work round the clock, without Weekends and holidays, lifting and discharging products around the country, until the queues are off the filling stations.

Comrade Oladiti called for caution amongst Tanker Drivers particularly during the season, saying, much as more is expected from members at this season, they should be safety conscious, given the high vehicular traffics on the Nation high way.
He advised all road users to obey traffic rules and make road safety their watchword.

The National Chairman enjoined all stakeholders in road transportation sector of the economy as well as oil marketers and Allied industries to join hands and support the Federal Government current efforts at cost effective supply and distribution of fuel products at lower price across the country, such that Resources are channeled to other meaningful and welfare programmes.
