21 September 2016, Sweetcrude, Abuja –  The Nigerian Gas Association, NGA, has urged the Federal Government to create incentives which would promote deliberate and well-funded projects in the search for gas.

NGA President, Mr. Bolaji Osunsanya, made the charge when he led a delegation of the association on a visit to Dr. Maikanti Baru, Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, at the NNPC Towers, Abuja.
According to Osunsanya, there was a need to create incentives which would promote the deliberate search for gas as against the practice of accidental gas discoveries that had been the case since the advent of the nation’s petroleum industry.
