It appealed to youths in the region and the agitators to cooperate with HOSTCOM in its effort to checkmate and police pipeline vandalism, oil theft, illegal bunkering, illegal refineries and all activities deemed to be detrimental to sustainable development of the oil and gas industry in Nigeria.

He said, “It is highly selfish and unpatriotic for the Chief E. K. Clark-led PANDEF to give the Federal Government an ultimatum considering the right steps taken so far by the government towards a permanent solution to the age-long crisis that had bedeviled the Niger Delta region.”
“PANDEF wishes to appeal to all agitators and stakeholders in the region to exercise restraint and remain calm to sustain the relative peace enjoyed in the region as it will enable PANDEF deepen its engagement process with the Federal Government.”
As proof of their continued stand-off with the authorities, NDGJM reportedly attacked a major delivery line operated by the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC) in Udu Local Council of Delta State on Monday. The group also warned that no repair should be carried out on the damaged pipeline.
