22 March 2016, Lagos – Nine ships have arrived Lagos ports, waiting to discharge petrol, diesel, base oil, butane, Aviation Turbine Kerosene and aviation fuel.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication – ‘Shipping Position’, a copy which was made available made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Lagos.
The document noted that 20 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were being expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island Ports from March 22 to April 18.
NPA explained that the expected ships contained bulk rice, buck wheat, bulk charcoal, diesel, petrol, container, bulk gypsum and Aviation Turbine Kerosene (ATK).
NAN reports that 20 other ships are at the ports discharging general cargoes, bulk gypsum, buck wheat, fuel oil, bulk fertiliser, diesel and petrol.
