    Angola: BNA puts $282.9m up for sale

    16 October 2014, Luanda — The Angola Reserve Bank (BNA) sold foreign values in the amount of Usd 282,9 million, at an average Interbank Market reference rate of Akz 98,766, Angop learned Wednesday in Luanda.

    Angola Reserve BankThe information is contained in a note published on BNA website, saying that the sale was held from October 6-10 this year.

    According to the note, in its current management of the National Treasury, the BNA as a state operator, has placed Treasury Bonds amounting to Akz 23.2 billion (Usd 322.2 million), of which Akz 19.1 billion in treasury bills and Akz 4.1 in liabilities.
