11 April 2015, Luanda — The Cabinet Council’s Economic and Real Economy commissions Thursday in Luanda analysed the crude oil and natural gas draft policy.
The session chaired by the Angolan head of State , José Eduardo dos Santos, reviewed the Government’s strategy for development and monetarisation of the natural gas resources discoveries, taking into account goals set under the National Development Plan for 2013-2017.
The commissions also reviewed the Presidential Legislative Decree Draft on the Legal Regime of the Special Economic Zone which, within the framework of the national production, constitutes an instrument of policy of business foment and diversification of the country’s economy.
On the other hand , the session was informed about the Notices and Instructions of the Payment System meant to ensure the creation of the Angola Automatised Compensation Chamber and the susbstitution of the Service of Compensation of Values of the Cheques Compensation Sub-system.
This measure will enable as from the second semester of 2015, for the first time in the whole national territory, the timeframe for compensation, return and holding of cheques, regardless of the place they were issued or deposited.
The 3rd Session of the Cabinet Council commissions also learned of the state of evolution of the construction of the Money Museum expected complete by the first semester of this year.
