    Lagos — Bellazir Energy, an indigenous oil and gas downstream company, has advocated the need to improve efficiency in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum industry with emphasis on emissions controls and investment in innovative technology.

    With the official launch of the firm in Lagos, a new sense of optimism may be taking root in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector, as the company signals intent to redefine fuel distribution through innovation, integrity, and sustainability.

    Speaking at the official launch of the Company in Lagos, Chief Executive Officer, CEO, and founder of the firm, Christable Aniemeka, said that Nigeria’s petroleum industry remains one of the lifeblood of the economy, with daily consumption of petroleum products exceeding 50 million liters nationwide.

    She observed that despite the industry’s key economic fundamentals challenges which include delays, inefficiencies, safety risks, and inconsistencies in delivery pervades activities in the sector.

    She said the Company represents a fundamental shift in management of products movement from different points and is poised to bridge this gap.

    The operations of the Company she explained was designed to provide timely, safe, and efficient access to petroleum products, revolutionize petroleum logistics with innovation, technology, and integrity and build trust with every delivery, allowing customers to focus on growing their businesses while the Company handles their energy needs with excellence.

    “At Bellazir Energy, we do not just move petroleum products, we move possibilities. We have invested in best-in-class technology, operations, and people, ensuring that every delivery reflects the highest standards of service, safety, and sustainability,” Aniemeka said.

    She maintained that at the heart of Bellazir Energy are the pillars of integrity, sustainability, and customer-centricity and the Company is committed to reducing carbon footprint through smarter operations and to developing a new generation of service professionals who are passionate about excellence.

    “Today is just the beginning. Together, we will redefine the future of petroleum logistics, setting new standards and turning challenges into endless opportunities. Standing here today, launching Bellazir Energy, is a testimony to that grace, resilience, and the power of opportunity,” She declared.

    The Keynote speaker at the occasion and Chairman of Energy Institute Nigeria, Mr. Osten Olorunsola, who delivered a compelling address on the future of petroleum products distribution, commended Bellazir Energy’s leadership for taking timely and courageous steps during a period of global energy transition.

    “The global energy landscape is undergoing profound transformation. Initiatives like Bellazir’s are not only timely but essential to Nigeria’s energy future,” Olorunsola stated.

    As Nigeria continues to adapt to a deregulated petroleum environment, the emergence of companies like Bellazir Energy signal a new chapter, one that prioritises reliability, private-sector innovation, and enhanced service delivery across Nigeria’s fuel distribution network.
