Sao Paulo — Brazilian power firm Eletrobras is expected to invest some 9 billion reais ($1.55 billion) in 2024, Chief Executive Ivan Monteiro said on Monday.The investment trend “should not be different” for 2025 and 2026, he added at an event hosted by MegaWhat, noting that this year’s amount was three times the company’s historical average.
