22 July 2013 – Norwegian oilfield services firm BW Offshore reported Wednesday that it has agreed an extension for the Sendje Berge FPSO (floating production, storage and offloading) vessel with Addax Petroleum Exploration. Under the agreement the Sendje Berge will continue to be used by Addax offshore Nigeria until the end of the first quarter of 2014.
BW said the extension has been agreed to secure operatorship continuity while joint work to detail a longer-term program for investment and production is completed.
The Sendje Berge has an oil processing capacity of 50,000 barrels per day and a storage capacity of two million barrels.
