30 November 2014, Luanda — The collapse of the bridge over Cacuilo river, on November 24 this year is affecting the transportation of fuels to the eastern region of the country, Angop learned.
The information is contained in a press release from the National Oil Company (Sonangol) that reached Angop on Thursday, in Luanda.
According to the note, the collapse of the bridge is affecting the transportation of fuel to Lunda procince and Luena city, Moxico.
In order to prevent the shortage of fuel in the that region of the country, as a result of the collapse of the bridge, Sonangol has identified alternative routes that include the railway from Lobito and Huambo (centre) to reach Luena, before proceeding by road to other localities of the region.
