19 March 2014, News Wires – UK newcomer Discover Exploration and Kenya’s Bahari Resources were two of four players handed acreage off the African archipelago nation of Comoros.
Mauritius-based Safari and Western Energy formed the other of two consortia to share the six offshore blocks awarded, Reuters reported Comoros Energy Minister Abdou Nassur as saying on Wednesday.
Upstream reported late last year that Bahari and Discover had been beaten to blocks D, E and F but were jointly chasing other acreage.
Discover already operates blocks A, B and C.
