23 September 2013, Cairo – Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Energy Ahmed Emam arrived to Cairo at the weekend after a three-day visit to Austria.
In statements upon his arrival, Emam said that he attended meetings organised by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), during which he met with the Director General Yukiya Amano.
“We reviewed the several nuclear activities in the development and health sectors, ” Emam said, adding that Egypt has postponed offering of the nuclear project in Dabaa through an international tender in order to receive approval of an elected parliament.
