According to him, the 100mw, which will not pass through the national grid, will benefit customers within Lekki, Ajah, Ibeju and environs.
Amoda however noted that customers benefiting from the scheme will pay more.
“This energy will come directly to us without passing through the national grid.
“In this special arrangement, the customers will pay more than regular customers. The good news is that power supply would be stable almost at all times,’’ he said.
Amoda used the forum to appeal to customers to embrace the new electricity tariff, which he described as one of the lowest in the world, adding that it is customer-friendly
He said that removal of the fixed charge by government was a welcome development which would benefit the customers within the network.
Eko Electric, he said, has the lowest charge for electricity in the country taking into consideration the tariff structure released recently by the National Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC.
“What it means now is that we are going to vigorously pursue our metering plans to the satisfaction of our yearning customers,” he said.
