18 April 2016, Paris – Italy’s Eni plans to invest about 20 billion euros ($22.52 billion) in Africa over the next four years, mostly in oil and gas, the company’s Chief Executive Officer Claudio Descalzi said on Friday.
“In the next four years we are going to invest about 20 billion euros in Africa, about 60 percent of our investments,” Descalzi said at the International Energy Agency in Paris.
