Oslo — The outage at Equinor’s Melkoeya LNG plant has ended, the company said in a statement on Monday.
Europe’s only large-scale LNG plant near the Norwegian Arctic town of Hammerfest has a capacity to process 18 million cubic metres (mcm) of gas per day.
The outage was first reported on Sept. 11. An attempt to restart was aborted on Sept. 13 due to a gas leak.
