17 August 2018, News Wires — The German Federal Network Agency announced plans to hold wind and solar plant tenders on Oct. 1 this year.
The tenders – two in number – separately for onshore wind and for solar will hold same day.
The agency set maximum bid for the onshore wind turbines auction is at €0.63 per kilowatts-hour (kWh) while the maximum bid for solar is put at €0.875 per kWh for a bid volume of 182,479 kW.
It said: “In the grid development area, which covers substantial parts of Northern Germany, 311,271 kilowatts can be slammed in this round”.
