09 April 2015, Accra – Glee Oil Limited, one of the fastest growing oil marketing companies in the country, has opened its first outlet in the Cape Coast Metropolis, with a pledge to give customers, value for money.
The outlet, located near the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium, Siwdo, brings to six, the number of such facilities in the Central Region and more than 30, across the country, since it received license from the National Petroleum Authority to operate in 2013.
The Managing Director of Glee Oil, Mr John Sanni – Thomas, in an interview on the sidelines of the official opening said the outlet would run a 24-hour service, acknowledging the challenges drivers who travelled at night faced when their vehicles ran out of fuel.
He said aside the sale of petroleum products, the outlet would operate a mart shop, banking and vulcanising facilities, a lube bay for vehicle servicing and oil changing and provide other services.
“We are here to serve… our main aim is to offer customers services that surpasses the customer’s own expectations, he stressed. Mr Sanni-Thomas said the opening of the outlet is the company’s contribution to the development of the metropolis through employment creation.
Nana Kwame Adu V, Tufuhen of the Oguaa Traditional Area who represented the Oguaamanhen at the ceremony, applauded the company for creating employment and called on other private companies to do likewise.
