09 November 2018, Sweetcrude, Port Harcourt — Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has accused the Federal Government of de-marketing oil products which produce the nation’s wealth, by refusing Prince Charles of England from visiting the neglected Niger Delta region.
Speaking when he granted audience to the international preacher, Evangelist Daniel Kolenda at the Government House Port Harcourt, Governor Wike wondered what parameters were used in confining Prince Charles to Abuja and Lagos.
Wike who described the action of the APC Federal Government as painful commended the leaders of Christ For All Nations for coming to Rivers State, despite the plots by the APC Federal Government to de-market oil-producing states.
He said the actions of the APC Federal Government in the course of the visit of the English Prince underscored the negativity that has characterised governance under the present administration.
According to him, “The Prince of Wales came to Nigeria and they took him to Abuja and Lagos. They didn’t want him to see the suffering people of the Niger Delta.
“It is our money and resources that they used to develop Lagos and Abuja. Yet they did not want the Prince of Wales to see how they have neglected the area that produces the wealth of the nation.
“Look at the sitting arrangement of their photograph with the Prince of Wales and where they placed the producers of national wealth?”.
The governor further expressed happiness that God used him to reclaim the land where the crusade was held. He noted that the NLNG sand fill used to be a den of robbers, now turned into a place for God’s blessing.
Earlier, Evangelist Daniel Kolenda of the Christ for All Nations declared that God will exalt Port Harcourt this weekend.
Kolenda, who is the successor to the world-renowned cleric, Reinhard Bonnke, said that God’s Special Power will sweep through the state to bless the people and empower them with the grace of recovery.
He explained that Nigeria holds is dear in his heart because it was the first place where he preached and was also introduced as the new leader of CFAN, adding that the resurrection power of God will manifest during the crusade and God will work mightily.
He said: “History will be made in Port Harcourt this week, the power of God will be released to bless the people”.
The cleric also said that God will use Governor Wike to leave legacies of development across Rivers State because he has offered himself to work for his people.
