13 January 2018, News Wires – Monaco-based LNG shipper GasLog has taken the delivery of a newbuild 174,000-cbm vessel at the South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries, according to LNG World News
The vessel named GasLog Houston “left the yard yesterday and today goes on charter”, Gaslog said in a brief statement on Thursday through its social media channels without providing any additional info.
According to GasLog’s website, the LNG carrier is powered by two stroke diesel engines with low-pressure gas injection (LP-2S).
The vessel data provided by VesselsValue shows that the 290m-long tanker has been previously chartered by the LNG giant Shell.
The data also says that the vessel is currently worth at around $182 million.
