Port Harcourt — Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals and Fertiliser Group, Port Harcourt, has been honored with the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, Diamond Ambassador of Brand Nigeria Award.
The award, presented at the NIPR Diamond Dinner and Awards ceremony in Abuja, recognizes Indorama’s significant contributions to boosting Nigeria’s global brand reputation by exporting petrochemicals and fertilizers, thereby earning foreign exchange for the country.
Receiving the award on behalf of Indorama, a Senior Management Executive, Mr. Amit Bharti, and Head of Corporate Communications, Dr. Jossy Nkwocha, praised the company’s commitment to excellence and its impact on Nigeria’s economy.
NIPR President and Chairman of Council, Dr. Ike Neliaku, commended Indorama for its outstanding achievements, stating that the company has put Nigeria on the global map in the petrochemicals and fertilizers industry.
“I am pleased to inform you that the Governing Council of the Institute, after careful consideration, has decided to honour you as a Diamond Ambassador of Brand Nigeria,” Neliaku said.
The ceremony, attended by dignitaries including former Head of State, Gen. Dr. Yakubu Gowon, highlighted Indorama’s exceptional contributions to Nigeria’s brand reputation and economic growth.
