14 November 2013, Nairobi – Unpaid electricity bills have risen to 9.1 billion shillings in Kenya.
Kenya Power is currently installing prepaid and automatic meters to enable them collect revenue in full. The company is also installing GPS technology in meter reading devices to curb electricity theft.
