21 October 2013, Monrovia – In its quest to make petroleum products available on the Liberian market, the management of Kailondo Petroleum Incorporated has disclosed that it has imported a huge quantity of petroleum product into the country.
Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr. George B. Kailondo, said the arrival of the product which costs US$2.5M with funding from the Ghana Growth Fund, coincides the official opening of the entity on September 25, 2013.
Recently, the Management of that entity established four gas stations in Congo Town, Jacob Town, Brewerville and Topoe Village in Monrovia to be managed by potential Liberian entrepreneurs.
Speaking to reporters over the weekend in Congo Town, Mr. Kailondo revealed that his entity’s priority is to contribute towards the growth of the Liberian economy by providing jobs.
He then thanked several personalities and institutions including Mrs. Estranard Bernard, the LPRC family, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, among others for affording him the opportunity to run his business in the country.
