    MRS Oil approves new director

    25 February 2018, Sweetcrude, Lagos —
    The management of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc has announced approval of Mr. John Ugochukwu Chibueze as a Director.

    In a statement to the Nigerian Stock Exchange, the company said the appointment followed after its Board’s meeting on Thursday, February 22.

    “Mr. Chibueze is a highly respected business leader with extensive local, regional and international legal transaction and “C-suite” management experience”.

    He studied law and graduated from the University of Nigeria and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2003.

    He has acquired extensive expertise in international project finance, (upstream, midstream and downstream) oil and gas and (renewable and nonrenewable) power sector transactions and practice.

    With over 15 years post-call experience, Mr. Chibueze has led some of the largest multi-jurisdictional transactions across the energy and finance sectors in the African emerging market.

    He is a Partner at the law firm of Adepetun Caxton Martins Agbor & Segun.

    His appointment took effect Thursday, February 22, 2018.
