21 April 2014, Abuja – The National Association of Nigerian Student (NANS) has disassociated itself from media reports which suggested that it was in support of activities of the Petroleum Minister, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke.
A statement issued by the senate president of the association Com. John Shima said it “cannot be dragged into supporting policies that are anti-people, anti- development and which are inimical to the corporate existence of Nigeria”.
He described the purported support by students as the hiring of impostors to use the association’s name to support the embattled minister.
