Lagos — Hyde Energy, a leading provider of innovative energy solutions in Nigeria has been honoured with the prestigious “Most Supportive Partner of the Year 2024″ award by the Lagos State chapter of the Nigerian Automobile Technicians Association, NATA.
This accolade not only highlights Hyde Energy’s unwavering support for mechanics but also endorses the superior quality of the lubricant, a product designed to enhance mechanics’ efficiency and help motorists get the best performance from their engines.
As part of its broader commitment to impacting the automotive industry, Hyde Energy recently partnered with the Nigerian Automobile Technicians Association, NATA, and the Motor Mechanics and Technicians Association of Nigeria, MOMTAN, Lagos State Chapters respectively, to endorse a mechanic-oriented initiative.
This partnership forms a key part of Hyde’s ongoing #MyMechanicMyHero campaign which aims to support and celebrate the vital role mechanics play in Nigeria’s automobile sector.
The flagship initiative was the Hyde Cup #MechanicsChampionsLeague, a six-week football tournament extravaganza that brought together mechanics from 140 mechanic villages across Lagos State.
The initiative ended in an award ceremony where over N5 million worth of products were distributed among the winning team, runners-up, and standout players.
This initiative served as a foundation for building stronger relationships with mechanics and enhancing their technical capabilities.
In his remarks to the mechanic association, Oladimeji Edwards, Chief Executive, Hyde Energy said: “This award is a significant recognition of our commitment to supporting the automotive industry and providing top-tier products that make a difference, and we are honoured to be the recipients of this recognition.
“Our ongoing initiative is about celebrating the unsung heroes of the automotive industry, the mechanics, and we are incredibly proud of the continued positive impact it has had on the mechanic community.”
Speaking on the initiative, Comrade Moruf Egberongbe, Chairman of NATA, Lagos State said: “We play a crucial role in keeping vehicles on the road, so it is important that we work with the best. We are happy to award Hyde Energy the most supportive partner, not just because of the strong relationship we’ve built through initiatives such as the Hyde Cup, but also the product quality which empowers us to deliver exceptional service to motorists. Hyde Energy is committed to uplifting the automotive sector and ensuring mechanics are equipped for success.”
