04 May 2016, Jalingo — Black marketers now sell petrol inside houses and obscure locations in Jalingo, Taraba state capital.
Daily Trust found that all black markets disappeared from the state capital and other towns following the ban on activities of black marketers by the Inspector-General of police nationwide.
The disappearance of black marketers caught most motorist unawares as several vehicles and Keke NAPEP that ran out of fuel were parked along streets in the metropolis.
A motorist, Mallam Garba Haruna told Daily Trust that he ran out of fuel on his way to his office and could not find patrol anywhere.
Owners of filling stations interviewed said they were yet to receive supply of the commodity although they had paid for the product weeks ago.
