Port Harcourt — The Nigerian Navy has declared four persons wanted over alleged complicity in the illegal acquisition of 90 metric tonnes of petroleum products, within the country’s maritime environment.
The four suspects, according to the Navy are; Enikanologbon Happy, Arumona Daniel, Egbujie Kingsley Chinonso and Ogori Kenneth.
Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, in a statement by Commodore Suleman Dahun, said the four persons are crew members of a merchant’s vessel, Grace Water, which was arrested on October 8th, 2018, laden with 90 metric tonnes of illegally sourced petroleum products.
The CNS urged anyone with useful information about the suspects to contact the nearest Naval establishment, Nigerian Army, Airforce and or the Police.
“The Nigerian Navy wishes to inform members of the public that four persons are hereby declared wanted for complicity in the theft of petroleum products in Nigeria’s maritime environment.
“They include; Mr. Enikanologbon Happy, Mr. Arumona Daniel, Mr. Egbujie Kingsley Chinonso and Mr. Ogori Kenneth.
“Anyone who has information about the whereabouts of these persons should contact the Naval Provost Marshal, Naval Headquarters, Area 7, Garki Abuja on 08037442228, 08037175817, 08030522035 and 08138799220, the nearest Naval establishment, Army, Air Force or Police unit.”
