Port Harcourt — The NNPC Ltd/First E&P Joint Venture has concluded a comprehensive health outreach program for its OML83 and OML85 host communities in Bayelsa State, reinforcing its commitment to tackling critical healthcare challenges in its host communities.
The free medical initiative, which ran from January 29 to February 1, 2025, according to the JV, was part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility and aligns with the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) 2021.
Thousands of residents from Koluama I, Koluama II, Ezetu I, Ezetu II, Foropa, Fish Town, Ekeni, Sangana, Opu Okumbiri, Okumbiribeleu, and Oginibiri communities benefited from the free medical services.
“The NNPC/First E&P JV, which operates Oil Mining Leases 83 and 85 in the shallow waters of Bayelsa State, continues to prioritize sustainable community development and essential healthcare services.
