    NUPRC welcomes ENSERV, emphasises strategic collaboration

    Lagos — In a pivotal meeting held in Abuja, the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, NUPRC,and NNPC Energy Services, ENSERV, have agreed to enhance their collaboration in the oil and gas sector, expressing their commitment to cultivating a productive and results-oriented partnership that will support Nigeria’s energy objectives.

    The NUPRC Commission Chief Executive Engr. Gbenga Komolafe, hosted a delegation of ENSERV. The visit introduced ENSERV’s new management team, headed by Managing Director Sotonye Pinnick. ENSERV expressed a strong commitment to collaborate with the Commission, particularly in exploring frontier basins, a key initiative to enhance Nigeria’s hydrocarbon reserves and energy security.
    Engr. Komolafe congratulated the new leadership and highlighted the necessity of regulatory cooperation as outlined in the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) of 2021.
    He encouraged ENSERV to align with global energy transition trends, prioritize innovation, and operate with environmental consciousness.
    He also stressed the importance of promptly executing their budget plans. The meeting ended with a shared resolve to build a productive, result-oriented partnership in support of Nigeria’s energy goals.
