13 December 2015, Khartoum – Sudan’s Minister of Oil and Gas Dr. Mohamed Zayid Awad has revealed his ministry serious intention to exploit the gas associated with oil production in the country’s different fields.
He added that the operating of Al-Foula Electricity Station would increase the production of electricity power and meet the growing demand for the use of gas in the various forms of life, pointing out that this work needs a high investment partnership, calling on India to engage into this area.
This came during a meeting at his office Thursday with the Ambassador of India to Sudan Amrit Lugun where he received an invitation from his Indian counterpart to participate in the hydrocarbon Conference, which is to be held in New Delhi during 21-22 of the next January.
