Lagos — A pipeline has exploded in Egbeda, Alimosho area of Lagos State.
The incident early Friday morning, around 1.00 am, was reported on the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, pipeline.
The director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Mrs Adeseye Margret, confirmed the incident, but, could not explain the cause of the explosion.
“We are aware and on top of the situation at Baruwa pipeline fire explosion,”shr said as she stated that proper investigation by the service would reveal the cause of the incident.
