Moscow — Russia’s Transneft has not received any requests from Russian oil companies for the delivery of oil to Belarus since Jan. 1, the TASS news agency cited a company representative as saying on Friday.
Supplies have been halted as the two ex-Soviet republics have failed to agree on terms of deliveries for 2020.
“Since Jan. 1, we have not had any applications from oil companies to deliver to Belarusian refineries. However oil transit through Belarus is continuing in full volumes,” Transneft spokesman Igor Demin was cited as saying.
