11 May 2014, Lagos – TWO major firms have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in support of efforts of the Federal Government to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
Mikano International Limited and Schneider Electric said the MoU would enable both companies to leverage on their respective areas of strength for mutual benefits.
Both companies agreed to put resources together to ensure supply of quality and affordable electrical products to the market.
Both companies said the partnership would enable a stronger and broader diversification in energy and automation management.
The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Mikano International, Mofid Karamah, and Country President, Schneider Electric, Marcel Hochet, both signed the agreement on behalf of their companies.
According to Karamah, Mikano the company’s impact in the Nigerian economy was evident in the generation of employment opportunities to well deserving Nigerians with presence across the six geo-political zones of the country.
He welcomed the partnership with Schneider saying it would provide powerful strategically-related values and amplify their sales and technical network.
“It is to provide our valued customers satisfactory solutions for their power requirements with quality products at competitive pricing and committed to maintaining customer satisfaction by consistently meeting and exceeding their expectations,” he said.
Hochet lauded the technical expertise of Mikano.
“The partnership will enjoy the enormous talents and huge network of Mikano which eventually will bring value proposition to all end users,” he said.
