15 April 2014, News Wires – Well services outfit DeepWell has secured a two-year contract extension worth Nkr300 million ($50.3 million) with Statoil for wireline work off Norway.
The Norwegian player will provide wireline services on well intervention work for the state-owned operator’s Statfjord, Snorre and Sleipner platforms, as well as for the semi-submersible drilling rig COSL Pioneer.
Its option for logging services has also been extended.
