04 September 2013, News Wires – UK-based contractor Subsea 7 has won a contract with Norwegian operator Statoil for replacement and installation work in the North Sea.
The deal is worth $140 million and will involve removing and replacing replace risers, flowlines and associated subsea structures on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
Subsea 7 said project management and engineering work would start immediately from its Stavanger and Oslo offices in Norway.
Offshore work is scheduled to be carried out from 2014 through to 2017.
