23 December 2015,Warri – The Special Adviser to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State on Rural Development and Peace Building, Mr. Emmanuel Ogidi, has said that Nigerians must brace up for hard times except the Federal Government removes subsidy and focuses on other sources of energy and the non-oil sector.
Speaking with journalists during God’s Kingdom Society, GKS’ Christian Feast of Tabernacles in Warri, Delta State, the former Delta State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chairman said that change had nothing to do with shouting slogans, adding that the real change was beginning with the state’s PDP government as they were focused on making the state an investment destination.
Ogidi said the government would change the mindset of the people through education and reorientation, which would create peace and security, “leading to a legacy of youth empowerment and infrastructure development,” noting that plans were on for Shell to return to the state.
