TCN General Manager, Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah, said the meeting which held at the TCN Headquarters in Abuja, discussed the terms of reference, the current status of TCN grid digitization and the proposed project scope.
According to Mbah, the meeting also saw to the financial visibility, among other key aspects that would enable the efficient delivery of the project.
He further pointed out that the project was in its first phase.
Meanwhile, TCN has also commenced the installation of a new 150MVA 330/132/33kV power transformer at the 330/132/33kV Birnin-Kebbi transmission substation.
TCN in its official X handle said the move was part of ongoing efforts to boost bulk power transmission in the country,
“When installed, the transformer will increase the substation’s capacity by 120MW and add to the volume of bulk electricity transmitted to the Kaduna DisCo to boost supply to Birnin-Kebbi and Sokoto.”
